At Intrinsic Early Education, we firmly believe that how quickly a child learns to read, write, and count is secondary to fostering an environment where children can grow, through self-discovery and guided lesson plans, in a manner that enriches their lives and builds a foundation for lifelong learning.

About Theresa
As the owner and principle educator of Intrinsic Early Education, I am committed to every child in my care. With an associate’s degree in early childhood education and more than 10 years of childcare experience, my approach as a caretaker and educator is rooted firmly in the Montessori philosophy that “early childhood education should activate a child’s own natural desire to learn.” I see it as my great privilege to work with children every day, and firmly believe that nothing is more important than nurturing the growth and development of young children.
